This is a list of basic responsibilities for the Sales Executive position

  • Responsibilities:
    • Prospect, educate, and close deals for website design, search engine optimization, brand identity kits, pay per click advertising, social media advertising, local lead generation for contractors, and websites for churches/ministries. 
    • Coordinate sales efforts with marketing programs
    • Negotiating contracts with prospective clients
      • Emphasize the features of services to highlight how they solve customer problems
      • Be knowledgeable about the services offered
      • Answer questions about the services
    • Prepare sales proposals and agreements
      • Discuss scope with internal team to develop accurate pricing
      • Example: Talk to web designer about pricing for 15 page website.
      • Example 2: Talk to SEO Architect about competition in Houston for Pest Control. Develop a price point that is competitive and can move the needle for the client.
    • Prospecting:
      • Identify prospective customers through various media platforms
      • Create and refine sales scripts
      • Contact new and existing customers to discuss needs
      • Complete and record on-screen prospecting videos 
      • Give sales presentations in person, via Zoom, and on phone calls
      • Collaborate with colleagues in different sectors
      • Maintain contact lists and follow up with customers to continue relationships with potential upsell opportunities
    • Give internal team updates on new potential projects in the pipeline.
      • Only discuss ones that are VERY likely to close.
    • Smooth transfer of a new Sale to the account management team
      • For many clients, you will need to be a part of the kickoff meeting.
